Stannolite SRA
Stannolite SRA is an additive used to inhibit the formation of stannic tin sludge in tin and tin-lead electroplating processes. It is effective in both sulfuric acid and methane sulfonic acid (MSA) plating applications. The presence of stannic tin, generally formed in low efficiency plating processes, results in increased additive consumption. At high levels incorporation of the precipitate into the tin deposit can take place giving rise to out-gassing during reflow operations.
